The Pekanbaru Suntara Peatland Project (PSPP) is a peatland and forest conservation and restoration initiative in Dumai, Pekanbaru, Riau Province, Indonesia. Spanning 35,644.39 hectares, the project employs the VM0007 REDD+ Methodology Framework, VM0047 Methodology, and the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards to deliver verified climate and biodiversity benefits.

Measurable Positive Impact

Achieve net emission reductions and removals of 26,623,828 tonnes of CO2 equivalent over a 40-year crediting period.

Deliver tangible benefits to local communities, improving livelihoods, healthcare, education, and well-being.

Restore habitats for endangered species, including the Sumatran Tiger, and protect biodiversity.
